Re: Difference between RF audio systems?

I did just that... took out the LOC and added RCA's on the ends and connected to the rca out on kenwood. Doing this made no real improvement in the sound sadly. Sub is still weak, can hardly tell its on. Curse you Suzuki!!! :x

Re: Difference between RF audio systems?

Keep us updated if you find anything. The inline crossovers that the other poster was talking about are not the problem either. I took it out, it just makes the volume louder at any given level (setting 10 will sound like 20, 20 will sound like 30 ect..) sound is still thin and lacking real punch. T...

Re: Difference between RF audio systems?

tc-It does have a nice blend on certian music at certain levels, but it seems to be lacking greatly of its potential. If you have nothing to compare it to then yeah, your ears will adjust to the way it sounds as being normal. I mean go listen to the regular rockford system, that setup has bass to sp...

Re: Difference between RF audio systems?

I had the touchscreen replaced about a month ago because of this problem and others. It would skip back to the start of songs with cd and usb, the radio would leave the station it was at and randomly search for another station. All of these problems are there on the replacement unit as well. To top ...

Re: Difference between RF audio systems?

I listened to another SLS at the dealership with nav unit and it sounded just as bad as mine. The dealer is saying thats the way that unit is implemented into the system and thats the way it was designed to sound. He agrees though that it doesnt have the same bass response at all. It can get loud, b...

Difference between RF audio systems?

I have an SLS with the nav touchscreen kenwood and it sounds horrible! Its rockford fosgate but sounds thin and weak, no punch at all, its super treble sounding. No amount of adjusting makes it sound listenable. I went back to the dealer and listened to a gts with the rockford system but without the...
