Creaking in Front Suspension, what to look for?
So over the past year or so my Kizashi Sport SLS has developed a rather noticeable creaking/crunchy noise in the front suspension. It's to the point now that you can even hear it when driving over imperfections in the road surface, such as the uneven concrete in my apartment's parking garage or when...

Re: Which wiring harness fits 2011 SLS (Kenwood DNX6020UA3)?
cokizashi, how'd the new headunit install go? Does everything work ok, steering wheel controls and all? Does the sound from the Rockford Fosgate speakers sound similar on the new HU as they did on the Kenwood? I have the same Kenwood headunit in mine and I'm thinking of doing an upgrade as well, esp...

Re: Steering is driving me nuts!!
Hey Everyone, It's been crazy at work/life the past couple months, so I haven't had the time to pop my head in here and see the responses/follow up. Thank you for the input and advice, I really appreciate it! The strut mounts suggestion never occurred to me, so I'm going to have a look at it soon wh...

Yes it's Kenwood. I believe this is the model: (DNN770HD) http://www.bestbuy.com/site/kenwood-6-1-built-in-gps-cd-dvd-built-in-bluetooth-built-in-hd-radio-in-dash-receiver-black/8918083.p?id=1218946953268&skuId=8918083&ref=06&loc=01&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=8918083&extensionTy...

Re: After market GPS brand
I don't think there really is anything that is highly recommended specific to the Kizashi, just depends on how much you want to spend and what features you want, and which brand you trust. Do you have the Rockford Fosgate system or the basic system? If you have the Rockford Fosgate system, it won't ...

Re: Steering is driving me nuts!!
I haven't been on here for a long time...had a death in the family and been busy trying to juggle full time work and grad school. Anyway, hard to believe that I've had my Kizashi for four years this month...almost three of which I've had the steering issue described in this thread. I'm surprised I'v...

Re: DIY Tire Rotation
I've jacked mine up dozens of times now at that central point with no bending whatsoever. Yup, same here Hmmm...that's weird, I don't know why mine did then. It seriously did deform...I'll have to take a picture and show you what I mean when I get a chance. Haha honestly I sometimes feel like the b...

Re: DIY Tire Rotation
The front jacking location is indicated by the red arrows. It's rather close to the front bumper and is part of the frame not covered by plastic underbody shields. front center jacking.jpg When you raised the car using the front central jacking point, did the metal on the jacking point stay intact?...

Re: Hose being sawed by engine cover
To be honest, I vaguely remember the hose being like that from the factory. I wouldn't be surprised to be honest, because my Kizashi had a couple of other assembly imperfections that I've noticed. Anyway, I actually ended up just bending the hose away from the engine cover. I grabbed the metal secti...
