Need a little refreshing

Recently had my nav stolen out of my 2011 kizashi. Insurance took care of the head unit and I had the shift knob replaced becasue it was scratched in the break in. Just got my car back yesterday and I can not for the life of me remember if the gear indicator lights next to the shifter are supposed to be illuminated or not. I believe they are which means the install was done wrong but I want to double check on here. Can anyone help me out?

Yes, they illuminate when your driving lights or headlights are on. It's a regular filament bulb, not an led.

Thanks for the replay. Guess the repair shop forgot to plug in the lights when they changed the shifter.
