So a few weeks ago my Kizashi sent itself to hell. Ive had ENDLESS knocks, rattles, thumps and bumps from all parts of the car to the point where I stopped driving it until a few days ago when I had a day off to go over the car and fixed a lot of loose bits and pieces. Its due for a service but thus far I havnt been able to book a day that I can get it in thanks to my work hours.

My main concern of these noises is a deep hard knock in my front right wheel basically constantly. Driving down a rough road it sounds like the cars going to fall apart. I cant see anything wrong but I managed to pinpoint a spot of my drive home from work where the noise is isolated so tonight I took a video. For some reason I cant include it in my post so heres a link:

The noise im referring to is evident at 0:22sec. Any help or ideas at all??? The front right has felt very stiff ever since the noise started, I noticed today aswell that my left had wheel has a fair bit of negative camber and the inside of the tyre has gone bold within a few weeks since I last looked, i'm assuming its somehow related but I could be wrong.

It's not easy to guess what it is, but it's clearly audible.

Perhaps start with what you do know - the wheel alignment/ wear issue. (Time to upgrade to 235/50R17 tyres? :) )

My thoughts exactly:P for now im leaving it on to show suzuki but iy all comes down to if this is covered by warranty or not as to if its r17 or r18 ;) I found another spot this morning where I can single it out and its louder so ill try and record that this afternoon.

Have you tried tightening all the bolts/ nuts under the passenger compartment that hold the plastic under trays on? I found a couple of them loose from the factory.

They might try to blame a rim/ tyre change for not warranting something. But, at the end of the day, you can involve the state based consumer protection agencies and consumer laws. They'd need to prove that the warranty claim was caused by the modification. It could be a huge headache though.

I know this isn't helpful, but pretty much all of what you've described including the sound in the video sounds like the way my Kizashi drives. I have a similar knock in the car since 15,000 miles on it and I've yet to figure out what is causing it. First I thought it was coming from the trunk area, but now I've narrowed it down to somewhere in the dash (I think). Of course the dealer tells me everything is "normal"...

And of course, there are all of the other rattles...

Have you checked the guard underneath your car (is that what your referring to murcod?) Mine didnt feel loose but I noticed it was completely missing a bolt, replacing that and straightening it up fixed up one of my main rattles. I fixed most of mine by just tightening up everthing I could on the car so maybe give that a go if you havnt already. Things seem to be a bit loose from factory.

Ive been taking more and more videos every day so Suzuki cant try to tell me it doesn't exist. Ill put a few more up for referece and hopefully find the solution after my service but id love to know what it id before hand

my kizashi had the same problem and it drove me nuts. for me it was the stabilizer bar bushings which are about 20$ and it has been quiet ever since.

I assume you are referring to the front bar D bushes - and did you replace them yourself? I can't imagine it would be an easy job? That fault would possibly match up with the sound I get in the front of mine (over sharp transitions in the road surface.)

Ive changed a front bar before, never again though. From memory I checked the bushes earlier and they looked fine but I may be dreaming? Wouldnt be surprised if I had a split bush, ill check tomorrow afternoon, im out of town at the moment.

Sway bar looks good, sits firmly in the brackets with no visable damaged to the bushes. It looks a bit lower on the drivers side but theres no sign of contact and I dont see how it could possible twist without doing damage to the brackets.
