So as it turned out, there are 3 main bolts that attach the A/C compressor to the engine block, and then 2 bolts on top that connect the A/C lines (not 4, although there are 4 bolt holes). There is also a plastic wire clip screwed into the top of the A/C compressor in one of the bolt holes, and you have to disconnect that same wire from wire harness at the top of the compressor. It is pretty simple to do but the area is tight so you must take off the passenger tire and then remove the various plastic covers to get to the compressor. You also need to move the lower radiator hose away from the area to allow your wrench to access the bolts properly. It would have been nice to just take off the clutch and bearing but my old compressor was pretty trashed so I decided it best to just replace the whole thing. Besides, I am not sure that I could get the parts off while it was still attached to the car. Odd angles and the o-rings/snap rings were not easy to get too until it was out on my workbench.

So now my next question, if anyone can help, is how much and what kind of oil do I need to put in the A/C compressor before I put it back together? I was going to do it later but I realized that it's so hard to get to that I should do it now before I put it back together. Are there any mechanics in this Kizashi forum or am I the only one? :)

One last thing, I recommend to take the top bolts off first (a/c lines) because once the compressor is just hanging there it's too hard to remove to top bolts.
