The CVT used in the Kizashi is made by JATCO and is the same as some other cars. Notable ones are the Mitsubishi Outlander and Outlander Sport (RVR).

It depends upon what you mean by "compatible". KuroNekko has just pointed out that the same model is used in many cars, that doesn't mean it can be swapped into a Kizashi. That means that the parts inside are pretty much the same, the manufacturer Jatco considers them to be the same model. There could be a difference in mounting ears, etc on the outer case of the transmission to go into different cars. And it's almost a certainty that different cars get different gear ratios. The only way to tell if it would bolt in and work is to get both transmissions sitting side by side and compare the cases. The only way to tell if the gear ratios are close enough to work is to put one in and try driving it.

Don't forget to add that the TCM's are likely different as well. When some of the CVTs were failing in 2010/2011, the TCMs were also replaced with the transmission as a 'matched pair'.
