Works like a charm
Can you tell me the brand name of the bypass module your installer used please? This is the only thing stopping me from having my install done, the shops here can't find a bypass module supplier that even lists the Kizashi.
ben if you go back to page one i had mentioned at the time of my installation there was no module and my car was hard wired to get remote start but since then there is a module for the kizashi not sure of brand though i will give him a call ..see what i could find out......you could also ask your gy if he knows how to hard wired for remote start

I had posted the name of the company but have removed it for now.
My car was done as part of their engineering development for new product release, and for now is a one of a kind installation.
Once the final version is completed and released into the marketplace I'll gladly send you all in their direction.

I had a Python 1401 installed today. 2 things wrong. The first being I have to carry both fobs the factory and Python, ok I can live with that. The second issue is you can remote start the car but in order to get in it and drive off you have to kill the car and sometimes when you kill the car and walk away it restarts..... My installer is doing some research on this for me. They are a great shop but I am their first Kizashi Does anyone have any experiance with the Python and the Kizashi?
Ours is getting installed on the 15th. There is a bypass module offered by Fortin, you can download the wiring diagram from their website. You do loose a key fob though, it shows it right in the diagram. $799 installed for the remote start with the optional Drone system so we can start the car with our iPhones and then the cost of another key fob.
Thanks Ben! I paid $537 for everything even to start it with the smart phone. I think they just need to get the correct bypass module and we will be set. Thanks again!

Thats a great price, unfortunately here in Canuckistan we get screwed on the prices of almost everything. Are you going to buy a 3rd fob for the start system? If you are I suggest doing it ahead of time as Suzuki needs all your remotes when they program them. Pricey little buggers, I called around, cheapest I could get one for was $150, and I even called a few dealers in the states.
Hi
I’ve just had my remote starter with the alarm system installed. I thought I’ll share some info with other members.
Brand is CompuStar 2W9000 2-way receiver.
To be able to remote start I had to purchase third fob (not the key).
Installation was done by a specialized shop.
So far everything works without a glitch.
We've had the remote starter (compustar one button remote and drone system for iPhone) installed for two months now and things are working pretty decent.
The drone system works really well when you are on a high speed cellular data network, if your in a rural area with slower data coverage then the system is fairly sluggish and sometimes takes several tries to get it to work.
One thing that is hard to get used too is the security features of this system. Whatever method you use to start the car, lets say the drone app on the phone for example, you HAVE to use this same method to unlock the car doors with. The factory fob and the regular remote start key fob will not unlock the car. The same applies if you use the remote start fob to start the car, and try to unlock with another method.
My wife loves starting the car with her phone, and I am really glad we added this feature. The best use of it I have seen yet is when you are at the mall or movie theater and the car is a really long distance away, and also when you land at an airport you can start your car from inside the terminal even if its in a parking garage.
