I have a 2014 Suzuki Kizashi with a problem with the power steering. When I scanned the vehicle, it showed error C1122, "engine speed signal malfunction."
The vehicle sometimes drops rpm and turns off. It's only happened twice.
Has anyone had the same problem?

I know your scan tool tells you to check the power steering codes with the engine off, but this code always comes up unless if you start the engine. There's nothing wrong with the power steering, unless if you have other codes. If the engine is stalling , the most likely cause that I've seen is a dirty throttlebody. Check codes for engine and transmission control.
