How do I take off the S steering wheel badge

I'm trying to take it off & repaint it with like black pearl, because there's like this wear that you can see around the S which it looks like there's a layer of like something wrapped on it or something, like some wrap is peeling off the S logo but it won't really come off

Yes i saw this and i dont like it. Either its like peeling plastic i wonder if it warranty work
