I'm the happy owner of a 2010 Kizashi here in Sydney Australia with an annoying problem.
When taking the car for its test run before buying I tried the base model but then decided to purchase the XLS with sun(moon) roof, not realizing this lowered the internal ceiling height by 50 mm.
Because of my height 195 cm. I now drive with my head touching the roof lining, very uncomfortable!
Using the power adjustment I've lowered the seat as far as it will go, my question is, has anyone found a way of lowering the drivers seat beyond its lowest setting.

My previous vehicle had plastic spacers about 15mm thick under each seat mount. With some persuasion the spacers could be removed and a couple of washers fitted in their place (necessary to allow clearance for the seat's sliding mechanism on the carpet.)

Perhaps the Kizashi might be similar?

PS: I was actually wondering how the headroom is with the sunroof. I'm a few centimetres shorter and have never driven a sunroof equipped Kizashi.

No there are no spacers between the seats and floor in the Kizashi, so that suggestion is out. As for keeping head out of sunroof permanently, the weather is great here in Sydney but we do still get the occasional rainy day!

I wonder if the seat out of the Touring / XL model is lower? (Given it's not got electric adjustment like the leather equipped models?)
