paint problems

Hello,

I have a 2013 Kizashi SX bought last year in may. The color is red. The paint on my hood and side is chipped in many places.

I would like to know if any body else has this kind of problem, and is it covered by our warranty ?

Very common problem. There are multiple threads on this issue already if you'd like more information. As far as I know chips are not under warranty but flaking might be.

It's been stated before that the Red seems to be experiencing more of this than the other colors.
Several have had luck with getting nearly full re-paints covered under warranty from excessive chipping all over the car. Read some of those posts to get familiar with their situations and it may help you with your presentation to the dealer. Good Luck.

This is my in-depth take on the whole warranty/paint claim process. I get a bit wordy in places, but you'll get the idea. I would start the process soon if you're close to the 36k mark, as I'm pretty sure I just got lucky with my claim so far!
