Sounds like typical issues with used cars on a lot for a long time. The batteries die out and need to be jumped. My guess is that the tire pressure is quite low. Once you inflate them up to spec and drive the car around, things should be good.

Tires had proper inflation, 15 miles of driving and it shut off, and then another problem, hope i didn't buy a lemon ☹

Hey KurroNekko, did you move already? Garbage truck broke down between New York Deli and 7/11 and I had to go up your street to get around. Noticed a house near the top of the hill that seemed empty, and didn't see a Kizashi or a VW camper bus.

Sorry for the hijack CoryJTurner, but this issue seems to be resolved.

Not quite yet.
I live closer to the CP Family Center than up the hill so you definitely passed my place. The camper is parked behind the Kizashi in the driveway. You probably missed them as they are sort of hidden behind a tree. I'm certain they aren't missing as my family members are at the house. I'm currently in California, having driven cross-country in my girlfriend's Mazda3 earlier this week. I'll return to MD in a week and after about a month, do the trip again in my Kizashi.

I've prepped both cars for the 2700 mile trip. The Mazda is older with 130,000 miles so there was more to do. It thankfully got us cross country safely and reliably. It threw a CEL in Flagstaff, AZ but the code read a stuck thermostat. It was obviously stuck open as the engine was running fine. After we got to our destination, I disconnected the battery and cleared the CEL. It hasn't reappeared in 4 days so I think it was an isolated incident stemming from so many hours of driving in a short amount of time. We did the trip in 3 days so I averaged about 13 hours of actual driving a day.

I actually look forward to taking the Kizashi as it's a more comfortable and refined vehicle. I'll probably take a more Northern route next time given we went down through the South on the 81 and I-40 for this trip in the Mazda3. I'll get to see more of the country this way through states I haven't been to yet.

The bus will stay here with family for a little while given I don't have a place for it in CA yet.
