Serpentine belt too big?

Hi guys a 2010 kizashi. The tensioner pulley broke and replaced that. I am attempting to put the new belt on the car but it almost seems like it's too big?

Am I missing something

You probably have incorrectly routed the belt. Here’s a handwritten diagram that is correct. I’m hoping that you put on a whole tensioner unit as the tensioner unit does fail with miles on it. After you put the belt on it, You should rotate the crankshaft counter clockwise and watch the belt at the pulley tensioner pulley if it starts riding off then the tensioner will have to be corrected. if you look in Kizashi technical forum and use the search cheap fix belt 09 tensionerImage
