How are your front plates fastened to the car? (For those of us who have front plates)

I wasn't real happy to see that it looked like the just screwed the plate to my bumper. I don't recall any holes there originally. I would have thought a mounting box would have been the way to go like on most vehicles.

This will be reflected in my new owners survey when it comes in...

There should be some small pilot holes in the front. It seems like a lot of manufactures are going the "screw it to the bumper" route. I haven't seen any aftermarket plate mounts. I have mistakenly forgotten to attach my front plate... oh darn.

One of my favorite things about living in PA. No front plate!

Ditto NC.

When I was in CA recently, I am sure I saw one with a front plan on a mount. No idea if it was stock or aftermarket. No way too many people out there would live without a mount - so most likely aftermarket.

I hate the front plates. Now we have ugly yellow and blue that look really bad. Wondering how the blackout bumper kit would look with this stupid plate. I need something to make mine look a little different...

Put a nice chrome license holder like you would on the rear. Yellow and blue might look good with black - at least it would stand out.
