Yes I do. Like I said, my Kizashi is really coming alive at 30k+ miles. I don't know what the break-in in the manual says, but I usually mix it up w/ the rpm range in the first 1000 miles or so and dump the factory oil at 2k. The first Samurai we owned I thought had some serious problem because it didn't get very good mileage initially for quite a long time and had a hard time with hills in higher gears for a long time. But it slowly and gradually improved. By the time I traded it in at 110-120k miles, it was snappy, ran great, got 30mpg and never burned any significant amounts of oil. Body was starting to rust pretty good though.ipaqxman wrote:You really think it takes more than 10000 miles to break in?

6/14/13, I fit 14.253 gallons of Mobil premium in my S AWD. I'd driven 432.9 miles (low fuel light came on at exactly 429 miles, while backing into a sloped parking space).
Tank before, Gulf premium, netted 28.0 MPG.
Both tanks fueled some runs exceeding 100MPH........
