Caska actually seem to have a good reputation too (from past research).

Pity it looks so "aftermarket" - the plastics don't even go close to matching!

I think it looks pretty darn good. It matches better than my Kenwood Navi headunit that the Suzuki factory installed.

I believe the image was photoshopped onto the car's dashboard so the difference in lighting etc could cause the HU to look like it is a different colour. It should be a perfect match in real life. I am planning to get my hands on one but don't see any on sale in India or even in the US

Good point, hopefully that is the case?

Jono, are you sure they used the genuine Suzuki surround, mine is a perfect colour / texture match. Or are you talking more about the design looking better/ more integrated - I totally agree.

murcod, I have the navi unit and it's surround is the black shiney plastic like the headunit itself and it doesn't match the rest of the black plastic material. I purchased my car with only 10k on it and the sticker has the navi unit listed as factory equipped.

Jono, it sounds suspiciously like it might not be fitted with the genuine Suzuki double DIN adapter?

This is what it should look like:

The aftermarket versions I've seen don't seem to match the dash colour/ texture as well and are also missing the black perspex section on the lower centre area.

Given the price of the genuine article, aftermarket is often the only logical choice.

Does your best buy use suzuki oem dash kits? They fit much nicer than the Scosche kits.
I dont think the HKHonda swift unit will even fit. The bottom of our radio doesnt curve under like that one. And the height of ours is different.

I believe i got my dash kit from Schoshe like 2 years back.. Metra also has the kit as well. I actually found the kit from this site, someone had made a post about it and it had a link, see if u can find it.. Its a perfect fit

I have an older SX4 version from this site and I can't recommend it high enough. I'm an ex-installer/shop owner and musician, so clarity and quality are a VERY important to me. For what I paid for this unit, it does the job VERY nicely.

The only real issue is they don't seem to have one for the Kizashi yet. I do know they have universal units, but maybe they just haven't built one yet. Once again, they are fantastic for the price!

With red backlights, thats what the factory nav unit SHOULD have looked like imo.
