Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

When I was on a Lexus forum for my cousin's GS300, there were A LOT of people there who got charged for their cabin filter to be changed, but it never actually was changed. I'm sure they wanted to 'change' it. ;)

This economic climate has really started to bring out the worst in dealerships. Upselling is one thing, but selling and not doing the job is just plain cheating.
KuroNekko wrote:I personally do all my own maintenance because I enjoy it and it's also quality assurance to me. I constantly find mistakes or laziness on the part of pros after I take my cars in. Mismatched bolts, missing washers, misaligned gaskets, etc. are things I don't tolerate so I avoid others touching my car as much as possible.
It's part of why I join car forums and why I use and contribute to the DIY sections.
Same here. I hate spending money for people to mess up my cars. I can do that myself. But with a factory service manual, good tools, and time and patience, I can do anything they can--but better.

I think most cars on the road go to an early grave due to poorly done maintenance. There's no reason half the cars that are scrapped have anything wrong besides a lifetime of bad maintenance. :(

I care for my vehicles poorly; I delay oil changes, extend service intervals, ignore recommendations, and generally do as little as possible.

Washing cars is for girls; if I have time to wash it I have time to drive it!

Ay?

FWIW, my last five cars, all Subarus except this last one, the K, all which exceeded 130K, have enjoyed similar lack-of-maintenance.
I ain't scared. Too busy drivin'........

My 2011 AWD S is ready to pass 106K.....it will be three years old on December 23rd.
It's very dirty.
