Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Here you go, it was posted by xj85:
Having read through the whole service manual I didn't find any way of getting to that mode either. However did find a way of turning the DRL's off for those who want to add LED's without messing their high beam lights.

)Push engine switch to change the ignition mode to “ON”.
2)Perform Steps a) through f) described below within 15 seconds after Step 1).
a)Turn lighting switch to CLEARANCE position.

b)Turn lighting switch to OFF position.

c)Repeat Steps a) and b) 4 times.

d)Turn lighting switch to HEAD position.

e)Turn lighting switch to OFF position.

f)Repeat Steps d) and e) 4 times.

3)When Step 2) is completed, the mode changes automatically. Warning buzzer (in combination meter) sounds by the specified number for each mode as follows.
•Changed from “Non-operable” mode to “Operable” mode: Buzzer sounds twice.
•Changed from “Operable” mode to “Non-operable” mode: Buzzer sounds once.

4)After confirming buzzer, push engine switch to change the ignition mode to “OFF”.

I guess this needs to go in DIY section too.

Hmm I'll have to try this. Does "clearance" mode mean the option that turns on the marker lights?

Not sure why Suzuki couldn't put this in the control menu in the dash display but did so for controlling the footwell lights to come on with headlights.

Keep us posted on whether this actually works.

How do I access this control menu? What else does it allow you to do?

Thanks! I also found it in the owner's manual (which I should've looked at before posting ).

It's on page 2-85 if anyone else is interested. I've attached that page to this post

~tc~, for a car electronics newbie, how hard is it to make that connection? And that would make the aftermarket DRLs on anytime the engine is on?

It's not difficult - a standard "HD headlight harness" has all the wiring you need already done. All you need to do is feed it switched power (or runt o a switch) to throw the relay.

Hi Binary,

I'm working all day today but I can open the hood and take a pic tomorrow. It was pretty simple and I'm not a big electrical guy either. If you don't see a pic by tomorrow night feel free to message me direct and pester me until I do it. I'm excited to try the ridiculously long and complicated method of getting the stock DRLs off without disabling the high beams. I hope it works.
