Is there any Hard Data showing the improved Handling on AWD

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Sorry to bring this back from the grave, but I was wondering what it would take to install Suzuki's i-AWD system, suspension setup, and i-VSP onto a manual Kizashi :D

Bingo!

Except:
I would be more interested in what it might take to put a manual in an AWD Kizashi (think "wire harness".......

A bit more than that ... Have fun trying to get the power out of the manual transmission and into the transfer case.

I don't think it would really be worth it unless you have the RRM turbo too. The awd does suck quite a bit of power out of the car. :(

Once this is old, I really do want to keep it on as a project car :D So performance will definitely be given a big bump, and I really want to know if talking to some Suzuki technicians and sourcing the parts will make possible to have an AWD manual

I think the biggest challenge will be finding a suitable transmission to bolt up to both the engine and the propeller shaft system of the rwd/awd. The other problem you may run into is that there may not be a tunnel for the shaft in the fwd version. People ran into this issue when trying to convert a USDM 1st Gen Altima into a Nissan Bluebird SSS (that you lucky guys down under got!).

Oh, and I've felt a significant difference on dry handling now that I can push the car (even on the winter tires). The rear definitely grips and makes cornering hard much easier. I can only imagine what the rrm sway bar can add.
