In the UK garages aren't big enough to take a Kizi, in reality it's struggle to get a go- kart in one

It would be interesting to see.
My bet is that Kizashis owned in dry areas like the Southwest USA and parts of Australia will have fewer cases of this than in humid places. My Maryland-based Kizashi had this issue rather early on. Maryland is quite humid in the summer and gets a good amount of rain. I also leave my car parked outdoors at home but during work hours, it's in an underground garage.

But at the same time the Uk is a pretty wet place. According to my friend who is head of Suzuki parts UK, he can't find a single incident of a Kizi having to have new shocks under warranty (3 years). Very strange

Unfortunately Suzuki will only perform the TSB fix if your rear shocks have failed. Repair centers need to send the faulty parts to Suzuki in order to be reimbursed
Told my Suzuki dealer to check mine at the first year service (Uk cars have 3 year warranty 60000 mls) back in October/November 2014 and it has the old type fitted they said the TSB only applies to USA etc not UK. Will of course be taking action before warranty runs out

Yes - my UK 2013 Kizashi had new rear shocks in Feb '14 under warranty. Left hand side had become noisy, I mentioned the TSB but whether it applied to UK or not I got new shocks at no charge. First visit they tried a fix as suggested by Suzuki UK but weren't happy with it so it went back in for new ones.
