Planing to take my 2011 kizashi (2 wheel drive) to leh. Has anybody driven kizashi up in unpaved mountain track.

Kizashi im mountains
The Kizashi is a tough car, but has rather low ground clearance so be careful. Given you don't have AWD, you'll want to avoid deep sand, mud, and other loose or slippery surfaces. If it's simply an unpaved road, it should do just fine.

It's strange that the Sport model has a slightly lower ground clearance, but also has four wheel drive.
A lower stance brings the car's center of gravity lower so the return is better handling. The Kizashi Sport has a 10mm lower ride height than the standard Kizashi. While it's true that many AWD variants of sedans/saloons have a higher ride height than their 2WD counterparts, the Kizashi focuses on handling more than all-weather ability. Not saying that the Kizashi's i-AWD can't handle adverse road conditions, but Suzuki seems to have acknowledged most AWD sedans don't need the extra ground clearance most of the time just to drive on a moderate amount of snow on a paved surface. They focused on handling with the Kizashi on all variants and if ground clearance was needed, they'd rather have you buy an S-Cross or a Vitara.paininthenuts wrote: It's strange that the Sport model has a slightly lower ground clearance, but also has four wheel drive.
