My TPMS service light comes on. Not check TPMS
after having valve stem replaced it took bout 2 weeks
To find someone that could get it to sync with the car
So now it only comes on when it wants to. Any one
Know what i can do or try i hate the TPMS system
TPMS service
I never explored this thread very much (I've never had TPMS issues) but it's likely the best place for solutions or ideas.BurtonBenson wrote:My TPMS service light comes on. Not check TPMS

Sorry I couldn't get to your thread earlier. I wrote the thread linked above and have probably amassed more knowledge on the Kizashi tpms system than anyone in teh world outside of Suzuki itself.BurtonBenson wrote:My TPMS service light comes on. Not check TPMS

I've noticed some odd behavior with re-learning and tire pressures.
On re-learning, sometimes it will not full accept the programming. It will be fine for a few days, and then it will come back again. It will not go away again until it is re-programmed again.
On tire pressures, I've learned that if your pressure goes above a certain number, it will also trigger the system. However, once tire pressures drop to acceptable values, all is normal again. This can also happen if pressure are too low and then raise to normal levels while driving. This scenario sounds like what you are experiencing.
What are all your tire pressures? I bet one is too high or low and is causing the problem.
WESHOOT says he's running his tires near 50psi. I don't think he's ever complained about the TPMS triggering at those pressures. It seems rather odd that this would be a factor in triggering, unless, the sensor(s) are screwed reporting inaccurate info (as in above bursting pressure) to the system.

I bought a set of wheels with the aftermarket TPMS installed, along with mounted/balanced tires, from TireRack.com
I did the tool-less initialization hack I found here.
It worked, and I've had zero issues since.
And yes my tires are currently pumped up to ludicrous pressures.

This is interesting information.
I know my factory Suzuki sensors do trip above 50psi (I believe) as I had it happen on some MKE HSV trips on the snow tires which already have 44psi in them for load bearing. But maybe aftermarket sensors either don't report above 50psi or simply report 50psi so they never show an error. Either way, definitely something new to learn about the tpms system.
