hey guys, im looking to replace the panasonic standard stereo with a pioneer or kenwood multimedia device and just wanted to ask a couple of questions.
i have found the fitting kit on ebay with a couple of connectors for around 60£..
as im from the UK the Kizashi Models over here come with Volume buttons, Mode/mute buttons and also has the phone call buttons on the steering wheel and also my model came with front and rear parking sensors and bluetooth which i think was factory fitted..
if i was to buy an aftermarket pioneer or kenwood unit would everything still work or would i lose some features?
last question, can anyone recommend me any good units?
im sorry if something similar has been posted before.
Kizashi 2012 Stereo replace Questions
thanks for your help ive sent them a email, hopefully they will get back to meWESHOOT2 wrote:Might try visiting Crutchfield.com and see if they can give you any answers to those type of questions.
(I don't know if they do international sales, though).

Hi! That was the first thing I did when I bought mine. To use all the stereo controls on your steering wheel, you'll need to buy an interface. I bought mine from Crutchfield. You'll need to buy the face plate and an antenna adapter too. I had Best Buy install the whole thing because my new unit came with a navigation unit, and proper placement of THAT antenna is very important! The didn't install mine right the first time and while looking for a Jamaican restaurant, the GPS guided me to an trailer park!! As a matter of fact, Best Buy told me exactly what to order, and I did!Hope this helps!
