VZ Navigator Audio
Hey guys , new owner of a 2010 silver SLS.Love the car but I'm having an issue and was wondering if any of you were.I use Verizon's VZ Navigator thru my cell phone for navigation and I can't get the turn by turn audio to play thru the car's audio system.The phone works fine.I've spoken with Verizon and (naturally)they say it's a problem with the software in the car.Please only reply if you have the factory audio...Thanks
I've wondered about a similar topic. I also have a Verizon phone, but the only audio that connects to the Bluetooth is when a call is in session. I don't know if its the car or the phone. For example, I used to use the voice dial on my handset extensively while in my old car, which did not have Bluetooth, so phone only. With the Kizashi, that isn't possible because Bluetooth connects and takes over the phone audio, and doesn't activate until a call is active.
As the same time, when I had my phone paired to my Garmin GPS, if I activated the voice dial on the phone, the Garmin would activate the audio and allow me to voice dial.
What would be ideal for me is if during the pairing process, you could decide if you wanted to use the dial by name from the phone or the car, if phone is selected, then allow audio pass-through for dial by name

I have an old phone, waiting to decide on which smart phone I like. VX5300 at the moment.
