Is there a way to start your 2012 kizashi without the key fob?

My son managed to lose his key fob and I'm hoping there might be a backup plan for driving the car until he can replace it. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

There is no way to start this car without another key fob that has been registered to this car. The spare key that you were telling us about is just the mechanical key that opens the drivers door. There is no chip in it. A Suzuki service center or v few locksmiths and I mean very few would be able to do this. You can go to YouTube and look up “ Kizashi all keys lost “. and see a video, hope this helps.

Good luck with getting a new fob and starting the car again (no sarcasm lol). This is the cheapest new fob I could find online, although I got my spare from NorthCoastKeyless and had a good experience with them. They raised their price since I got my fob last year, though.
