How far can you go on ---?

Is there a beep to tell that you need to refuel? I got down to 15 miles and wondered why there was no warning. My last car would go crazy if you let you go under 30 miles.

When your range goes to --- it will beep and then your gas light will click on.

I have gone *cough* *cough* 62 miles after the low fuel light comes on.
Surprinsingly, that time the tank only took 14.28 gallons.

I routinely go 35-45 miles after the light comes on. Most I have pumped is 15.419 gallons (that time I went 51 miles after the light came on)

I haven't had the guts to go any further. The total tank capacity is 16.6 gallons, but how much of that is really usable? All the way to 15.5 seems usable so far

Mine comes on about when by bleeding it in at he end, I get about 14.5 gallons in. I put 16.1 galleons in on a drive up I 81 last summer. Had 482 miles on it, which was consistent with the 30 mpg indicator. I had topped it off before I left.

Did not do it on purpose - bright sun coming from left rear kind of washed out the warning light. It was a holy s__t moment.

My dad once ran out of gas and coasted into the gas station only to stop about four feet from the pump. I've never come close, but part of me wants to give it a try...

I never use the, I think what you're talking about the "miles to go" HUD? anyways the light with the orange pump sign came on yesterday. so I guess I was very low on gas I went 5-6 miles to get gas..lol I guess have been to busy to even check my gas gauge.

I went 42 miles after --- and I pumped in 15.6 gallons after doing the 3 click trick mentioned above to eek more fuel in. I'm guessing 50mi is about all you'd want to push it.

Ok... I lose!

I was 500 feet past a gas pump and sputtered to a stop this morning. Thank you to the good Samaritans who helped shoved me into the station. I wasn't trying honestly, but got pulled over by the highway patrol 10 minutes before and got distracted on my way into the office. (Just a warning no ticket. Maybe he liked my car.)

60 miles exactly past the ---

I pumped 16.770 into the tank, so I think I was really dry! Well duh... I literally ran out. I haven't done that in years. I feel like a teenager. I highly recommend when the light comes on or it says --- you pull in and fill up.

With that said it does feel good to know the limits and range on the car. I think the gauge is pretty accurate.
