Body molding accessory - how does it work ?

Looking at the pic on the Suzuki.com site, it seems to mount pretty low on the sides to prevent a door hit from an adjacent car in a parking lot.

Does this accessory actually work ?

If you are talking about the side molding, I don't think that it will stop any door from getting dinged, it is form over function...to actually be effective, it would have to be on the crest of the doors, that would look pretty cheesy...I just walk further away from the store to avoid the parking lot dingbats.
