I know what you mean. My favorite car of those I own is a Mazda Protege5. I'm also a huge fan of the Mazda RX-8.

since i mentioned my previous jetta 2002 when i told my friend i was selling the jetta and getting the kizashi he said to me quote you going from volkswagen to suzuki are you crazy. and 2010 jetta i was going to buy until i heard of kizashi.now he thinks kizashi looks and is way better than a jetta biting or not....upon probing he has no clue about suzuki but he knows vw as a brand so hes ready to talk down about suzuki i think thats a big factor in suzuki sales right now....superior product or not most people will follow name brand [to be in]..and some critics will be the same...[tend to favor name brand following]...fact of life

It would help if Suzuki dealers were easier to find and didn't often look like second-rate used car dealers. If Suzuki wants to be a player they need to step up their marketing and distribution big time. As it is, they're doing the bare minimum, or less.

well here in brooklyn nyc the one dealer close to me doesnt look second rate but its not really close to me not too far though but you are absolutely right i agree 100 percent.....and people would have in general a better outlook of suzuki which would result in better sales and [this can be disputed] a more favorable outlook and not just looking for cons vs pros its a mind thing

You made the right decision in getting the Kizashi. It's a better looking car bar none, compared the current Jetta V...

See below what the NCS/New Jetta VI would look like...yes (rather yuck), another Corolla rehash.

With ugly sedans like this coming from VW, I'm more serious than ever in getting a Kizashi to replace my aging and costly to maintain B5 Passat.

Its a better looking than most cars now in my opinion but because its a suzuki it dont get enough credit some people will look for negatives because of its name sad but true its extra hard being an under dog

Back when I got my 2000 Passat new, VW was sorta an underdog, the Passat was an understated "hidden gem"...and it was nice then to own a car you don't see at every corner.

10yrs down the road, things are a bit different...

Methinks now that esteemed distinction goes to Suzuki, and with it the Kizashi...

I like the Kizashi...I like underdogs.

You're all aware that VW and Suzuki are linking up, right? VW recently bought a large chunk of Suzuki.

13 2010s and one 2011 now signed up. Better than earlier, but more will be needed to provide some reliability stats.
