Mazda 6 anyone?

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Totally different class of car though!
True! Though I was recently suprised by the low(ish) price of the Toyota.. I think If that was around at the time I was buying the Kizashi.. I'd have seriously considered it. The current Toyota and Subie are what I wished the Kizashi had have been in some ways (looking at the original Kizashi concept from a few years back).

if Suzuki come up with a sleeker sports model to rival them.. I'm, putting my hand up right now :-)

I am definitely going to look into the Mazda6 when my lease is up next year. No AWD, and I think the interior may not have as high of a quality feel of the Kizashi, but I'm hoping to be impressed with the driving experience. That NYTimes review was probably the least kind of the many reviews I have read. I'm also kind of hopeful that there won't be one on every block, as will happen with the Fusion.

The closest car to the Toyobaru is the Mazda Miata. Both are RWD, small, and lightweight.

The closest thing Suzuki makes to the Toyobaru is the Swift Sport, but of course, it's FWD so there is a big difference there.

The electronics package offered on the GT is amazing.
