what rear pads to buy

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

I agree with Murcod that you should have the rotors machined or at least sanded to remove the glazed surface off the rotor.
I usually take sandpaper to rotors at brake pad changes.

I'm running front and rear slotted rotors and brake pads from SP Performance.

Happy.

Do you get a low level humming noise with the slotted rotors? I've fitted them on the front of the XL-7 and can hear the difference.

A bit of research show up the front pads as being the same fitment as a 2007- Nissan X Trail / Dualis (I think Maxima pops up too?)

Regardless, here's a list of front pads (from an Aussie X Trail forum).
Bendix 4WD - Part Number DB1946
EBC Ultimax Heavy Duty - Part Number DP1954
EBC 6000 GreenStuff - Part Number DP61954
EBC YellowStuff (Track) DP41954R
QFM HPX - Part Number QDB1946 HPX
ACDelco Vented - Part Number ACDR1220

(QFM HPX's are a favourite of mine and work well with little dust. They're been the pad of choice for the last two sets in the XL-7. They are an Aussie company- not sure if they export?)

For the rear:
Bendix DB1265 - which matches up with a number of rear fitments for Honda's (eg. Accords, S2000, Integra)
I found info indicating QFM also make that size- QDB1265 HPX should be the part number.
Greenstuff DP21193
Yellowstuff DP41193R

Looking at the Hawk brake site gives lots of hits http://www.hawkperformance.com/ .

Plenty of choices for a change - which is good! :)

No.

I'm running their semi-metallic pads, and when I'm REALLY standing on the brakes I get a metallic grinding noise.
Ah, the sound of heavy braking.......

Otherwise, the SP parts have been no-noise no-issues brakes. Happy Tim.
