Welcome buddy!! Yes indeed the Kizashi is an awesome car! It surprises me how many people do not know it exists. I probably had like 15 people at the car wash in the past 2 years asking me what kind of car it was, if it was a Lexus or an Audi...mine is debadged in the back so no Suzuki. I also probably had like 60 people passing me and turn their head back just to look at my front grill to see the car manufacturer... it is a NICE car and reliable!

A debadging is definitely in the near future.

And it is quite the shame that these cars never got the exposure they deserve. I read your whole thread WESHOOT, it speaks volumes about the quality of the vehicle.

You're getting what now? Unless everywhere you drive is downhill, this doesn't sound right.

If just going by the trip computer, I can see that. Mines been stuck around 34MPG for a couple of months now. Calculated it's still around 27.5 with mixed driving. Average speed about 32.

This morning it was pointed out they my right headlamp was out. Lifted the hood, gave the bulb socket a twist and it came right back on. May have gone out due to the 15 inch pond I had to drive through on my way home from work Monday but that's another story. A few months ago my left headlamp was out. I gave the headlamp a few raps with my hand and it came back on. I'm waiting for it to be really burned out before I remove that bumper to replace. I tried every which way to get the bulb out without taking off the bumper including removing things like that air intake stuff. No good. Even with pretty small hands and pretty good contortionist skills, could not even get enough on the back of the socket to twist it.

I appreciate anyone taking the time to read of my experience.
I only hope those who choose the Kizashi have similar or better experience with theirs.

Excuse me, now I gotta go drive 8-)

Yeah, mine shows 35 on the highway and 30 in town mixed. Reality is more like 32/28.

I never understood why you guys have good mileage like that... My computer is always showing 23 mpg only city and 28 mpg only highway... mix would be around 26 mpg...but when I calculate it, I am only getting around 19 mpg city and 24 highway. It is frustrating..

Mileage is most dependent on driving conditions. Things like stop-and-go traffic and city driving conditions kill fuel economy. It should be no surprise for someone living and working in or around a big city to get worse fuel economy than someone in a suburban or rural area.
