Woodie, as I already said, I'm a trucker by profession.
I get to work, I plug in the car, I work. When I'm on my way home, 200 miles or something, away from the car. I turn the heater(s) on. Then it's warm when I get there to go home.
My irregular hours doesen't help with a "normal" socket timer. And I can't afford to pay anyone to sit by the car to flip the switch when I need it.

And no, I don't rev the car when it's cold, engine, tranny, diffs. It takes time to warm up. Kinda self-preservation. Take care of the things you have, it lasts longer.

And I'm not chasing the best prices constantly. I choose what fits my needs.

Ronzuki, I feel kinda glad now that we've been cold since September :-D

I'm just glad I don't live in an area that really requires warming up whether for my comfort or the vehicle's sake. In fact, where I came from (and where I'm moving back to later this summer), cooling the car down after hours in the Southern California sun is more of a concern. Thankfully, my Kizashi has a moonroof, window visors, and tint for my comfort in managing the heat.

I like snow falling into my car through the roof.

So the other day someone noticed the edges around the holes in my drilled/slotted rotors are blue........

That's what I'm thinking of doing too, next winter. Get something rear wheel drive, that I don't have to care much about. Then scrap it for spring. And repeat.

KuroNekko, yeah, it can be like a sauna when you sit into a cooked car.
We don't get SoCal heat here. I guess Australia is kinda warm too :-)
Next time I replace the windshield, I'll put some tint on that as well. Not the whole screen though.
Rear windows are tinted already.

I missed the trucker thing, makes more sense now. 200 miles away, but heading that way fast. and car's not at home, so no one to flip the switch.

Didn't mean that as any sort of attack on you. Looks like a nice system, I was just a little bothered by the price. I know what you mean about just getting what works. I bought an RRM exhaust just for the sound, and now it's rotting away. Was hoping it would last longer than that, now I've got to find someone to weld in some new bits, or put the stock exhaust back on.

Thank you, Woodie.

Honestly, yes, it began feeling like I had to defend myself to why I chose this system.
I was just trying to share some info about what options are out there.

Yes... The price was a bit hefty, but I was prepared for it. The system without the "Link" would have been cheaper, but this one fit my needs better.

I'm trying to get the car the way I want it to be. It's a slow process, but I'm not about to sell it any time soon.

Hmm... the exhaust has been on my mind as well. How long have you had the RRM?
Did you get larger than original?

I'll give Feritta a call when it's time to replace the pipes. I would need something custom built. I couldn't find the Kizashi on their list.
Being stainless steel, hopefully they should outlast the car.

No hard feelings, friend.

Well, I went to the RRM website to get this link to the exhaust I thought I had https://roadracemotorsports.com/store/i ... 1auqcjuvc0 but I'm not so sure now. That one shows the muffler under the center of the car, mine is straight pipe with two mufflers after the T. I also have no flange before the T. They either made quite a few changes between taking that picture and building mine, or I misunderstood the guy I bought it from as to what brand it is.

Nope, just checked my PM's, seller said it was an RRM, and that he had only had it on for two months.

Incidentally, RRM has the rear sway bar on sale for $199.

But it's sold out. It's been sold out ever since they reduced the price and a bunch of us bought them years ago. There's someone selling a brand new one in the box for the same price (negotiable) under the Personal Classifieds section of this forum.
That being said, you already have a RRM sway bar, don't you?
