Weird AVG MPG dispaly activity

BTW - Average speed is around 38 but I don't think this has been reset since a my long trip a few weeks ago where the average speed was 55. Little traffic, lots of 70 MPH zones = high average speed.

Just an update. The weirdness continues to go on. My average seems to climb the entire tank. I'm currently at about 31 mpg, however, manually calculating it shows this is way off. I did set the display option to automatically reset the Average upon fill up. I'm going to turn that off and see what happens.

My current tank average mpg (reset when filled) with about 250 miles on this take reads 36.8. I know it's probably 7 MPG off. This is a recent development since or near the time I changes my battery. Makes no sense. Everything else seems fine. I'm not babying it either.
