Does non-synthetic GL5 even exist?

Sure it does, mostly in 80w-90, 85w-140, and various straight weights, though I've seen a few 75w-90 oils that do not claim to be synthetic. GL5 is mostly about the amount of high pressure anti-wear additives in the mix to properly protect hypoid gear sets, not the base oil type.

I just swap some 80W90 mineral GL5 out the rear diff of my XL-7 and filled it with Redline. http://www.tds.bp.com.au/pdf/9185_EPX.pdf

I have my fluids replaced at the dealer; they use Suzuki-branded products.

As good as an endorsement as I need for Suzuki fluids! :mrgreen: And normally I use Redline/Amsoil/Royal Purple when I can.
