I actually found a road I'd yet to traverse, so I did.
Mud season had already appeared at its lower elevations, and the mud was of the sloshy rutted variety. Like the 10 MPH variety.
Naturally, I'd just washed the car.
I made up for the slow mud with fast curvys......

I decided the other day (while sailing down a pot-holed wash-boarded dirt back road at 80 MPH) that, while it's simply that I've been lucky, these Kizashis are one tough rugged reliable durable automobile.

Yeah.

Yeah.
I wonder if anyone makes skid plates for the Kizashi. I got one years ago for my Impreza to drive on dirt roads which were really more like light duty offroad trails. I got them after a rock damaged my oil pan. 3/16 inch aluminum full engine bay shield and a rear differential cover too.WESHOOT2 wrote:

A quick search showed a Russian company making them for Kizashis.

I know the Motor Trend Kizashis that drove from Japan to California by way of Russia, Alaska, and Canada had custom-made skid plates.

in Russia most of the vehicles are operated with the skid plates, so even for such a rare car like kizashi a large selection of spare parts, and they look neater than video. http://www.autofn.ru/zashchita-kartera/suzuki/kizashi/
