What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Here's a Tokyo Roki 15208AA100 (for Subarus) cut apart. It appears to have a nitrile gasket and ADBV and a leaf spring bypass valve

Hmmm...but that's a different filter than what Steve said is the 'right' filter. Where did you get your part number from? Does the manual or service manual indicate what the right part number would be?

Changed the fob battery today.
I posted a sticky on it in the Technical Support section.

I was at Harbor Freight Tools, buying stuff for the VW camper. When I got back into my car, the display asked for me to hold the fob to the start button. First time ever. However, I've noticed that the range of the fob had dropped noticeably in the last few weeks.
I just got out, went back in to HFT, and got a pack of 4 for $2.
Fob back to normal now. Curious to see how long the battery lasts as I got 4 for cheaper than what 1 normally costs.

Everything I've seen so far indicates that 16510-61A30/16510-61A31 is the specified filter for the Kizashi (J24B engine). My dealer uses it and with other members also have it.

I have no idea where 16510-61AV1 is from, but it appears to work with the Kizashi too. Both are made in Japan but without comparing the two physically, I can't tell if they're identical or not. The 61AV1 is labelled as an "authorized replacement part" while the 61A31 is a "genuine part."

Cross references suggest that Tokyo Roki LFS708 replaces both, so I wouldn't worry about it.

So I did some searching and I found some other information to add to the confusion... The chrome trim (or "side molding" as Suzuki calls it) is four separate parts (FR, FL, RR, RL) available pre-painted. The front pieces are $308 each and the rear pieces are $240 each. The four pieces total $1100! :o

Hey people..!

I need wipers after a year of ownership (normal). Can anyone reco part numbers or other brands/sizes?

Love my Kiz AWD SLS, it was stellar through my first NY winter, very impressive push-button all wheel..

I have 20,000 miles on it in just a year. :o
