My girlfriend had an Elantra and I could feel the air when she put the level in the middle while I had to put mine at the strongest level in my Kizashi to come up with the same amount of air she was getting in hers.
That's my complaint - even maxed out the AC doesnt' blow air fast enough to cool down the interior on hot summer days (especially the back seat). It's one reason why I got mine tinted - to try and help

Gotcha! I do agree. When it is very hot outside, it is hard or it takes forever to get a real cold temperature especially when you have heated black seats.

Much like golftango, I think my Kizashi's A/C is very effective. It may be because the Mazda3 I had before it had a very weak A/C that would sometimes automatically turn off (no auto climate control on that car).

As for the fan strength, I find my Kizashi to be rather adequate. If you're finding the air flow to be weak, check the condition of the cabin air filter. That thing gets dirty very fast and a yearly replacement is recommended.

Mine felt like it was getting weak and I was going to add Freon but the gauge said I wasn't low. The A.C. blower motor was also making a sound. I replaced that and it doesn't seem weak anymore.
