Fitting crosshatch / mesh style grille in lower models?

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Thanks Northernstar...new you wouldn't let us down!

So David, what's your next move? If you have the info on the best place to buy it, I'd like the latest info.
I'm keen to go...

Group buy from the USA?

The price would have to be really good for me to do it right now. I've got other things I'd rather spend it on at the moment.

A group buy would only be good value if there were a few of us...Anyone interested here in Aus, let us know.
David how much leg work do you want to do? I know you've obviously found a couple of prices, can you get a firm price with the places you've contacted? Be a bit of a bummer if you couldn't go with it after all this time...!

Interested:)

Price would have to be right though, I don't think you'd get a discount at all for a group buy non standard oem part.

Is there an update on this? Did any of you successfully change the lower grill? any issues?

It's been verified that it will fit. Finding a reasonably priced source for the "sports" grille is another matter!

Unless I'm thinking of the wrong part, it seems pretty reasonably priced to me. :?

Southwest Suzuki (which is about 30 minutes from where I live) seems to have the lower grille part for $31.69 +shipping. These guys seem to have everything you would need to build your own Kizashi from the ground up.. :D

I think that's been discussed already? I emailed them and that grille price is for the grille pictured - not the proper SLS/ Sport grille. It was around US$250 from memory for the correct item?

Who verified that it fits? The diagrams from the Suzuki parts system show the clips in different spots

In another thread, there's a repaired Kizashi running the Sport front bar with the non sport grille. The clips are in the same positions too- I found some pics of the sports grille on the internet and compared it to mine.
