IMHO, the "looks way better" is debatable.

Certainly better protection though

How did you install these??? I have a set from my WRX and I need a pattern to put holes in them so that I can match them up to the wheel wells! I think they look great....I would love to put them on and then put some flat black Rota Slips on my Kizashi.....

Darn....thanks anyway...just not sure where the holes are because I know the factory ones have brackets that go behind the wheel well that secure them.

Don't have the info you are looking for. But just so you know, when I installed the factory mud flaps, there was no bracket. There was a paper template that was kind of useless because it moved too much. The best way to mark the holes was to put the mud flaps up securely and then mark the holes. Sorry dont have the template anymore that gave the exact points for the holes. Although if you are mounting other flaps it seems if you just pick well spaced points all you are really doing is drilling thru plastic and securing with the screws and some hardware. Anyway sorry I cant answer your exact question.

after taking a look at my car, the shop did use the factory brackets to secure the mudflap. the shop also used a few additional screws as well. where the screws should be used i think it's up to you. as long as the mudflaps are secured, it doesn't really matter where it is placed ^^

Mmmm.......a bit too much flap for my liking. I'm after something a little more subtle.
