Whining noise coming from engine in manual mode

Ive been noticing a whirling whine coming from the engine in manual mode with the rpms around 3500, always after I let off the gas in 3rd or 4th gear and the rpms slowly drop. Was thinking the air filter but it gets pretty loud if I have the windows down. Only seems to do it when the car has been driving for 30 minutes or so. It also does it while in D and I let off while the Rpms are around 4000 but it doesn't keep whining like it does in manual mode. Tried to see if it would whine on the way to work this morning(15 minute drive) but it wouldnt

Just the air filter? ALSO notice a slight 'click' after I start up from a cold start or after the car has been off for an hour or so...when I throw it into D I hear and feel(on the gas pedal) a little click....something adjusting?

Which I could help you but I haven't heard such noises yet coming from mine.

Watched your videos. I'm thinking CVT. It would be wise to take it in soon.
