2012 Kizashi changes from previous year

Were there any major changes made to the 2012 models? I'm not talking about things like leather seats, I'm curious about mechanical changes. On and what year did they resolve the paint issue, did they fix it in the 2011 or 2012 model? Thanks

I don't think there are any mechanical changes. There maybe some options change in different trims, no major changes overall.

Agree. There were some body kit changes in the GTS from the 2010 to 2011 model year, but other than that not much.

As far as I know there have been no major mechanical updates. There were some transmission firmware updates in the first year, but I haven't seen anything recently.

Paint complaints are far less from all countries so I think they must have that resolved.

My dealer had told me there's no major differences between the 2010, 2011, and 2012. Driving both 2010 and 2012 SLS I can't think of anything major.

There are some slight appearance changes - front facia, use of chrome, and wheel patterns.

We're the paint issues resolved before the 2011s came out?

I think most of the people who had trouble had 2010s, but the paint issues probably come and go. Nearly all car manufactures have issues with paint quality control from time to time. So it really depends on your car. You would probably know if you had a major problem.
