Are they ceramic or semi metallic?

They are a ceramic friction material brake pad supplied by Akebono.

One of the chain stores I use sells Akebono...Pep Boys, Auto Zone or Advanced. Can't remember which one.

The Kizashi pads are stupid-pricey.

Thanks. I don't need to change the brake pads but looking for something that generates less dust. Ceramics I read create the least dust compared to others.

Maybe I'll try the Armour All spray that repels dust.

EBC Greenstuff are good for less dust. I used them years ago and went from the front wheels being black all the time to the front wheels being a lot cleaner than the rear wheels (which were still fitted with stock pads.).

I used EBC Greens on my Subaru for over 10 years and loved them. They dust less, are cheaper then oem, last longer, and improve stopping power.
