WOW This thing is fun!!

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Hello!

I just bought a 2011 GTS AWD yesterday and so far this thing rocks! I live in the Pocono Mountains and it just gobbles up the hills and corners through the twisties better than my other Suzuki (98 GSXR 750). The acceleration out of the turns when manually shifting is so freaking smooth.
The only bad thing so far is I can't setup the stereo, bluetooth to work the way I want it too.
Anybody got a manual for the Rockford Fosgate system with navigation and rev camera?

Also, do you think I got a good deal? It has 18k miles on it and it's in mint condition and I only paid $16,300 total out the door, taxes, title and tags included.

Is there a list of do's and dont's that I should read about the car?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nice deal. Enjoy!

The head unit is the Kenwood DNX6160. Manual:

Congrats, you will love the car. Just curious...what kind of mileage are you getting on those hills? I live in upstate NY and I get decent mileage overall...but it is bad when I drive hilly routes.

I would say you got a decent deal. I got a better one, but it's for a manual which are not as popular.

Also, about the do's and don'ts: WESHOOT2 pretty much trashes any perception of babying his Kizashi and his is rock solid.

I've had no issues with mine. A few have had lemons, but they tend to be very rare. The car is generally a solid, reliable car.

hello and welcome. Get the alignment checked. It could be off spec and everything feels fine...except you'll chew through the tires. Note there is a Suzuki TSB for an updated set of alignment specs. It's floating around here somewhere, check the stickies.

(and yes, the twisties in manual mode are what makes driving a GTS AWD Kiz everyday a real hoot  )

Thanks for the welcome and manual. I think that I'll never get to drive it again though. My wife is driving down to the Jersey shore tomorrow after she feels how sweet it is she will probably make me drive the hyundai :(

Plus I was tearing the mountain roads apart with the kids in the car and if they tell her I was doing 70 in a 35 I'm toast.

Don't know about the mileage yet seems pretty good, but I've only had it for 2 days. Have to give you an update on that.

lol...you sound like me driving around the back roads down here! While I'm long past having kids in the car, my wife wants to know why the cars stinks when I get home from work.... nothing dear, just that very warm tire fragrance emanating from the car. Wait until it's raining...activate the AWD system and then you'll really appreciate the engineering that went in to this car.

My head unit is the DNX6020EX, I guess you can't setup voice dialing with it? Pretty bad, cause I'm a major computer guru but I can't figure out this head unit. I actually took it to one of my young friends (I'm 41) and he setup the speakers and dual zones and stuff, sounds super but we can't figure out the phone.

Any suggestions?

Bummer, I don't have those buttons on the steering wheel. Guess I can't make calls with the car. Oh well, still an awesome car.
