Just been given a Suzuki 3g kit. This is the type of thing the dealer offers you you for $500 when you but a new car, albeit they apply it for you. It is meant to give the car a glass finish and last 5 years. I have no idea how to apply it, and can't find much on google.

Ideas and suggestions please

I've never heard of this. Are you sure it's not just a normal dealer 'detail' kit?

In the UK just about every dealer offers this as an add on when you purchase a new car. There are several makes, but the one Suzuki uses is 3g. I have since treated my car, and whilst it is quite a long process, I am happy that don't ever need to wax my car now.

Interesting. How does it work? Is it essentially a paint sealer?
