Hey Everyone. I decided over the weekend that it was time to trade in my much loved 2010 Kizashi GTS. I really loved the car. It was very reliable, handled well, looked great, and was very comfortable. One thing that killed the car for me was Suzuki leaving. I was watching my resale value fall more and more. I decided it was time for something new before I took a hit when it became another year older in 2015. I was looking around for a car with more substance and more tech options. After test driving several vehicles, doing mounds of research, I decided to purchase a Kia Cadenza. Mine has both the Luxury and Tech package. I could not want any more options than this car has. It is a good deal larger than the Kizashi, has almost 300hp, and very quietly eats up the miles on the highway. I could not be happier with it. I wish everyone the best of luck and hope to see Suzuki re-enter the US in a few years.

That's a nice looking vehicle, good to hear you're happy with it. :)

Yes, very good looking. I like the cockpit, simple yet elegant. So, what did they end up showing you ($$) for the Kizashi?

Well the first time they came back with the trade value, I was offended. My car was in very good condition, newer tires, Newer brakes, had 53000 miles, and they offered me 7000 for the car. I said there is no way I will take that. I did a lot of market research and I was hoping to get between 9000 and 9500. After that they bumped the price up to 9000 for my car and took 500 more off the Cadenza. I got my Cadenza for 9000 below MSRP, they want the 14's out the door to make way for the 15's. All in all I got a really good deal for the car. I was considering a new Acura TLX, but the amount of options I got on this made it a no-brainer. I got way more options than I could have afforded in the TLX.

Congrats! The Cadenza looks like a great value. That's a lot of car for your buck

I really like some of the Kias except that every one I have looked at had that bright blue center screen display. Did they keep that in the MY yours is? Really reliable car. My local Kia dealer keeps calling me to get me to trade in my '12 Kisashi SLS but I like it too much to let it go just yet. Good luck with the Cadenza. :drive:

Mine does not have a bright blue display. Everything is Red and White. My speedometer is on a 7 inch LCD similar to a Mercedes S-Class. It is very tasteful. I cant speak for the lesser models though.

^^ can we get a pic of that? I'm curious...

I love the newer Kias. It's an amazing car for the money.

I'd actually never heard of the Cadenza before - we don't get it in Australia. So it's bigger than a Kizashi, is it current Mazda 6 size?

it's between the 900 and the Optima. Great car for the money.
