Has anyone seen the new Corolla's gauges?

What I do wish we had were the Corolla's LED headlights.
In case you don't know yet, replacing the Kizashi's headlight bulbs are a huge pain in the ass. In some cases, you need to remove the bumper and the headlights to effectively access the bulbs.

Good to know. I'll probably drop Philips Xtreme Visions in there, so thanks for the heads up!KuroNekko wrote:![]()

Or maybe OSRAM - Night Breaker Unlimited.
The low beams are H7s, right?

Well, that instrument cluster looks mighty familiar. They re-programmed the info display though. And the running/headlight indicator is different. Pretty interesting regardless.

Both high and low beams are H7. Low beams already have a projector if you want to use HIDs. Another possibility are Osram 65w bulbsgolftango wrote:Good to know. I'll probably drop Philips Xtreme Visions in there, so thanks for the heads up!KuroNekko wrote:![]()

Both the high and the lows are H7 bulbs (separate, of course, as H7 bulbs are single filament).golftango wrote:Good to know. I'll probably drop Philips Xtreme Visions in there, so thanks for the heads up!KuroNekko wrote:![]()

Some of us have put in HID kits in the low beams and partly because of the inaccessibility to the bulbs for blow-out swaps.

Very interesting gauges. There's a lot of 'Kizashi' elements in the cars of today. I always see these 'neat' features on the 2014/15 models and then look back at ours that had it in 2011.

The passenger side is actually very easily accessible. In fact, I think it's very easy to swap that side's high and low bean in case the low beam goes out. It's nice having the same bulb for both high and low--keeps spare bulbs ready in the car itself.KuroNekko wrote:Some of us have put in HID kits in the low beams and partly because of the inaccessibility to the bulbs for blow-out swaps.
