The good news is that UK fuel prices have plummeted to 2010 prices. I have been informed by someone in the know that the likelihood of substantial rises are unlikely due to the competition from electric cars.

That aside I thought I would try a higher octane fuel a few weeks ago. The outcome was I got only 1mpg better economy, however the kizi was marginally faster and the pick up smoother. It may be my imagination but also think the engine note changed.

The outcome is that I liked the fuel, but the additional cost was to much for me to use it all the time.

Hah, I had the same idea of trying higher octane since gas prices have dropped. I had a feeling it wouldn't be worthwhile

I read on FB this afternoon that someone I know in MO got it for $1.69. I haven't seen that since before 9/11...

Even though our fuel has gone down, it still costs between $8/$9 a gallon in the UK.

That was the day that everyone decided to go get gas AT THE EXACT SAME TIME! Everyone freaked out and thought they needed to put a full tank of gas in their cars for some reason. My family waited for 2+ hours at 3 different gas stations to get gas. Talk about a miserable experience.

Anyways, I know they didn't get in in KC. Gas is still $2.23 on the Kansas side, and usually only 8-10 cents cheaper on the Missouri side. Do your contact say where the cheap gas is?

It was a news story. I want to say it was like by Rolla or something...

I filled my SX4 today from dead empty to completely had to make it click several times full for $25! I could get used to this! (but I know I won't... )

I think they are going to stack(slang for layover and standby) about half of the rig operating in the US and wait for this to blow over.

In the meantime a ton of people are getting laid off in the oil fields.
