Well the goodbye time is drawing closer. I pick up the Cascada tomorrow, and say goodbye to the Kizi. I have owned many cars before, including an E class Merc, and this was the best car I have ever owned. Yes, the CVT box can be a little frustrating, with it's insistence to use revs, rather than torque, but its smoother than a conventional box. I know the fuel consumption is poor for a modern day car, but I forgave it for that because of the fantastic mid range grunt, and the growl it made. I can forgive the Kizi for it's cheap plastic dash, because the rest of the interior is fantastic. From time to time the keyless entry was a bit of a pain, and to be honest I would rather a straight forward remote system. Whilst I always believe a car of that status should have had a sat nav, the rest of the spec was fantastic. The car I just bought, despite being $45,000 worth of car, doesn't have folding mirrors, doesn't have electric seats, doesn't have voice activated blue tooth, or front parking sensors, albeit it does have a heated steering wheel, seat belt presenters, convertible roof, sat nav, and averages over 50 mpg. So what is the best thing about the Kizi, it looks absolutely FANTASTIC. Every day I would come out of my house and look at it as if it was the first time I had ever seen one. The thrill of knowing that I may be doing a long journey in it never wore off.

Tomorrow I will make the 70 mile journey in it to the garage and will relish every mile

Good Bye Kizi, I will always think of you :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :|

Well, you can always come back here to look at Kizashi photos and talk about the car.
I also think it may be good if you can write a review with photos on the Cascada. It's a car that's going on sale later in the U.S. so it should be interesting for North Americans to get a heads up on it.

Just popped in to say that whilst the new car is fantastic, I still miss my Kizi. I have managed to get over most things, but that mid range umphhh and the growl the engine made, is the part that hurts the most when I look back.
