I am contemplating a vertical door kit on 2011 Kizashi. I am on the fence, can't decide whether to do it at all, to do just the front doors or to do all the doors. Any opinions? Anyone have any experience with door kits? Any input is appreciated.

Your car looks nice as is. I wouldn't do vertical. Even Lambo had stopped adding them to their cars.
All 4 would look bad in my opinion. Imagine blinding people with the door lights if the fronts doors went vertical.
Just my opinion though, take it with a grain of salt. You do you, but it's something I'd never even consider.

This is just my opinion but your car looks sick, scissor doors look rice.
(I know some Lambos still have scissor doors)

I wouldn't get vertical doors for a number of reasons. While they look interesting, there's more going against them than for.
For starters, you're going to have to pay lot to get them for the Kizashi. I'm seeing kits for "Lambo" doors going for about $1000 for popular cars like the Civic. For the Kizashi, you may be the first in the world to put vertical doors on one so a door kit would be totally custom-made. That would be costly.
Another reason is weight. Vertical doors require some heavy duty hinges and gas shocks. These obviously add weight to the vehicle which is not good for performance nor fuel efficiency. Personally, I think it's stupid to compromise performance for aesthetics or style.
Lastly, it looks like permanent modification may be required to have a professional installation. They have to take out the front fenders to install the hinges. In an installation video I watched, they had to modify the fenders to properly fit the hinges. This would make things difficult to reverse if you didn't want the vertical doors in the future. Not only that, when you put a kit on a door intended to open sideways, the door still has to open sideways before it can go up. You basically start raising the door once the door is nearly 1/3 open. That's not the case with cars like Lamborghinis which were designed to have vertical doors in the first place.

Personally, I think vertical doors look best on a coupe. Doing it to a 4 door car seems off, but if all four are done, maybe it could look good. I just don't think it's worth the hassle and cost.

I have read that you lose your side impact integrity with those hinges. That should be enough to deter most folks. Functionally, if the car wasn't designed for them it seems like the bottom of the door blocks some access to the interior. But they look cool!
