ASA A1 wheels installed

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

I'm looking at buying a set of ASA AR1's for my Kiz (would look soooooo sweet), but I need to know from anyone who has actually had it done if they can swap out the existing sensors to use on the new wheels.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Okay, I talked to that parts guy at my dealership and he says he's 99% sure that the sensors will be able to transfer to the new wheels. That said, here are the wheels that I am close to pulling the trigger on...

And how it should look on the Kiz...

What do they weigh compared to the stockers?

I read that Suzuki was able to trim 2 lbs per wheel off for 2011 - that's A LOT.

I like the looks of them on the Kiz better than my 2010 stockers, but not better than the 2011 sport wheels.

Same here. BTW, has anybody tried to see if the 2011 sport wheels are available for purchase from the dealerships? Any cost estimates (compared with other options)?

Personally, I don't like how dark the stock wheels are, plus they have too many spokes for my taste. Having a dark gray Kiz, the stock wheels are too dark to give it a good contrast. I think (hope) the AR1's will take care of both those issues. Not to mention I don't like having the same wheels that most other Kiz owners have. Another benefit is I will have the stock wheels in great condition and in storage as a quality back-up.

I'm having these babies installed this Saturday, so I'll take some pics and let you people rip on them when it's done. 8-)

All said and done, I'm very happy with my choice. The new wheels are much brighter and give my Kiz more contrast while making it pop a bit more. I think I will use my stocks in the winter and keep the AR1s for the rest of the seasons. Here are a couple pics...

They look smaller - are they 18's also?

18s... those are the factory tires on them. They look bigger in person, but I'm not into obnoxiously big wheels anyway (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Photos don't do them much justice, unfortunately. The best test is coming out of a store and seeing it stand out from the back of the parking lot.
